At Voyager Financial, our mission is to help you navigate your financial future. We want Kiwis to feel empowered by their KiwiSaver investment and ensure they are on track to achieve their goals.
Our expert advisers act as your mission control, offering independent, personalized guidance to align your trajectory with the right KiwiSaver fund or insurance provider for your objectives. We perform regular system checks to ensure your investment or insurance continues to perform as your life evolves, contacting you annually to check in.
Our services are completely free, and likely part of the fees you are already paying with your provider. We follow the process below to ensure you’re getting the most out of your money.
Our Process
Conduct research
We search far and wide, conducting our own research across all KiwiSaver and insurance providers in the market for performance, fees, philosophy, management, and more. We use this in-house research to match you to a provider that suits you. If a provider stops performing, we’ll tell you (they won’t).
Our research is updated every quarter to ensure we know what funds and providers are performing. This takes into account a range of factors including returns and costs, as well as whether the providers are New Zealand owned, and what they invest in. Whether it’s important to you or not, we capture it so we can match you to the best provider.
Identify mission objectives
We know that everyone is at different points in their lives, and no two trajectories are the same. We meet with you to determine your investment philosophy, goals, timeframes, and what path you are on.
Everyone has different goals, whether you are looking at saving for your first home, are planning your retirement, or anything in between, we can make sure your individual goals are captured.
Recommend a trajectory
Once we’ve discussed your goals and path, we present you with a recommended mission plan, showing the potential trajectory of your KiwiSaver or insurance. We don’t play favourites, we find the right outcome for you.
We create a what’s called a mission plan for you, recommending a provider, fund, and show you what the difference in your KiwiSaver or insurance might look like over time. We don’t just leave it there, we keep track of them continuously and make contact with you yearly, making sure you are still in the best place you can be.

KiwiSaver can be confusing, that’s why we do the research so that you don’t have to. We give free KiwiSaver advice to Kiwis to ensure their KiwiSaver is performing as well as it can.
